한국타이포그라피학회 『전시 19: 그리드쉬프트』 출품작. 「그리드쉬프트」를 듣는 동안 마치 치과에 온 기분이었다. 입을 벌리고 눈을 가린 채 스케일링을 받을 때 들리는 소리들처럼 느껴졌다. 시술 중 입을 한껏 벌려 드러나는 구강을 한글 ‘이’와 ‘혀’로 표현했다. 물론 입을 이렇게까지 벌릴 수는 없겠지만.

An exhibited work for the Korean Society of Typography’s Exhibition 19: GridShift. Listening to “GridShift” felt like being at the dentist. The sounds were like what you hear during a scaling, lying back with your mouth open and your eyes covered. I expressed the wide-open mouth revealed in the middle of the procedure through the Korean letter “tooth” and the “tongue”. Of course, no one could really open their mouth quite that wide.
