Studio

규호초이는 서울을 기반으로 하는 1인 그래픽 디자인 스튜디오 겸 앱 퍼블리셔입니다. 2020년에 설립되어 북 디자인, 모바일 앱 개발 및 퍼블리싱, 아이덴티티 디자인, 포스터 디자인과 같은 다양한 프로젝트를 작업하고 있습니다. 개발, 디자인, 퍼블리싱, 운영하고 있는 앱으로는 「페이퍼맨」, 「마스크매니저」가 있습니다.

Guho Choi is a one-person graphic design studio and app publisher based in Seoul. Founded in 2020, the studio is working on various projects like book design, mobile app development and publishing, identity and poster design projects. 'Paperman' and 'Maskmanager' are apps developed, designed, published and operated by the studio.

Founder

최규호는 그래픽 디자이너, 앱 개발자, 그리고 아마추어 작곡가입니다. 그래픽 디자인 작업과 모바일 앱 개발을 병행하며, 기하학적인 타이포그래피와 표현을 좋아하고 즐깁니다. 2011년, 「쓰면서 배워요」라는 앱을 개발했고 이 앱은 애플의 아이패드 2 한국 TV 광고에 삽입되었습니다. 아날로그와 디지털 두 가지 모두 사랑하며, 2014년부터 책이라는 아날로그 매체를 위한 디지털 서비스 「페이퍼맨」을 개발하고 디자인합니다. 페이퍼맨은 2016년 레드닷 디자인 어워드를 수상하기도 했습니다. 최근에는 디지털 음반 『Watercolour Mirage』를 발매하며 아마추어 싱어송라이터 활동도 이어가고 있습니다. 계원예술대학교에서 2013년부터 2015년까지 시각디자인을 공부했습니다.

Choi Guho is a graphic designer, app developer, and amateur songwriter. He works on graphic design and also develops mobile apps. He likes and enjoys geometric typography and expression. In 2011, he developed the app 'Learn by Writing', which appeared on the Apple’s iPad 2 TV commercial in South Korea. He loves both analog and digital, and since 2014 he designing and developing 'Paperman', a digital service for analog media. Paperman also won the Red Dot Design Award in 2016. Most recently, he released a new album “Watercolour Mirage” written by himself through digital music platforms. He majored in visual communication design at the Kaywon School of Art and Design from 2013 to 2015.
